Anthony Taylor is an author, journalist, and screenwriter with a passion for preserving the lost treasures of sci-fi, horror, and pulp fiction. Over his career, he has explored everything from classic monster cinema to the visionary artists who shaped an era—bringing their stories to life through books, articles, and screenwriting.

His latest work, The Art of George Wilson, celebrates the groundbreaking comic book and pulp magazine covers of the 1960s, while Classic Monsters, Modern Art explores the intersection of horror and contemporary illustration. As an official Thunderbirds™ novelist, he brought Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s world to life in Arctic Adventure!, and his contributions to Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Complete Series – Volume 2 further cemented his role as a leading genre historian and writer.

Anthony’s journalism has been featured in Fangoria, Famous Monsters of Filmland, Screem, Retro Fan, Cryptology, SFX, Video WatcHDog, FilmFax, Amazing Figure Modeler, and more. He was also a monthly columnist for Toy Shop Magazine for 12 years, covering garage kits and genre collectibles. As a frequent editor and contributor to Sci-Fi & Fantasy Models International, he documented the art, special effects, and craftsmanship that brought classic
sci-fi to life.

His expertise extends beyond the page—he has lent his voice to podcasts, film commentaries, and convention panels, sharing his deep knowledge of midcentury sci-fi and horror with audiences worldwide.
